Ugly Ways by Tina McElroy Ansa

3.0

I got this book for free at a recycling event in town. It was a little hard to get into at first, but once I got to Mudear's parts, it got good. There were moments in this book that surprised me, especially when the sisters talked frankly about their sex lives. All in all it was entertaining and near the end if the book they discuss the trope of the African American super mom, which I wasn't aware of, so it gave me something new to think about. I appreciated that.
