Let me start off with saying I loved The Devil's Prayer.
Unfortunately this book didn't work at all for me. The style of writing didn't work at all for this type of novel. It almost read like we were ticking off a checklist, rather than getting us engaged in the plot and the characters. Sure, maybe the whole intricate details of the counterfeiting operation were interesting, but that was about it.
