Well that was quite interesting! It being an anthology of short stories, some are better than other, but all led into a main story anyway. Overall i felt it was a strong book, and apart from that last story that I felt was a bit out of place ( not because it's bad, just because the cliffhanger from the penultimate story leads perfectly into the following audio? and i felt they sorta missed an opportunity to just end it here?) all others helped to i think had a bit more backbone to the fifth axis plot.

All in all it'd be best if they didn't spoil who was behind the fifth axis in the title of the audio though, because you have a sense of running mystery throughout the books on who's really behind the axis, and then bam, the next audio is called "death and the daleks" kinda anticlimatic.
