Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus
by Barbara Park
"There are those who believe that the value of a children's book can be measured only in terms of the moral lessons it tries to impose or the perfect role models it offers. Personally, I happen to think that a book is of extraordinary value if it gives the reader nothing more than a smile or two. In fact, I happen to think that's huge." -[a:Barbara Park|769|Barbara Park|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1393724640p2/769.jpg]
Junie B. Jones was far and away my favorite series as a kid, and I think it played a big part in the sense of humor I have today. I wanted to re-read this to see if I could still feel comfortable recommending this. I absolutely do; it's hilarious and fun and fairly timeless.
