Harristan and Anya carried this entire book.
This book was about 200 pages longer than it needed to be, and it only started getting interesting after chapter 21.
Safe to say I was losing my mind for most of this. Most of the book they are on this freaking boat NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING. Like literally all they did is talk to each other, pick fights, and be angsty teenagers.
Corrick and Tessa were PISSING me off omg they be acting like Troy and Gabriella, getting together then having an angsty break up then BOOM together again but now they hate each other and it was just annoying...
HARRISTAN HOWEVER!! I LOVE THIS MAN. You might be confused if you haven't read this, but trust, he is holding together the entire plotline. It was very interesting to read from his point of view, seeing as we haven't gotten it before. He's honestly really funny which you probably wouldn't expect, and I really loved his character, and the little sidequests we got from him in the beginning. It was fun and made me actually want to continue this book.
I've lowkey been reading this book for like 6 months... uhmmmmm lets not talk abt that. But I really enjoyed the ending, it was very suspenseful and mysterious which I thought really dragged me back into reading this, and allmost all the plot-twists I didn't see coming, so it was like a whip-lash of emotions.
REALLY depressed abt chapter 31 (rip)
And even though I didn't particularly like this book, I still want to continue the series!
