If I didn't already really like Tessa Dare's writing style I probably would have had more of a problem with this and rated it lower. The 10 year age gap was super gross, especially because she was still a teenager and he has known her when she was younger. But just when their dynamic was growing on me and I thought maybe I could ignore how icky it was (it helped that

losing her virginity wasn't super painful

), then Jeremy kept making choices that would make me not root for anyone to get with him. Definitely one of my least favorites of Tessa Dare's, but I am still hopeful I'll like the next 2 in the series more
