Jurassic Park is a classic for a reason, and the movie did a brilliant job of taking 80% of the story and presenting it in a way that audiences lapped it up. The book is significantly more graphically violent, and multiple deaths featured in the movie are further gruesomely detailed within these pages. The novel itself is solidly written and incredibly well researched and fleshed out, and the characters and events are tense and driven.
