I'm really sad that I didn't enjoy this book more. I've never read anything with an Ace main character before, so it was quite interesting to see such a different perspective from my own. My "issues" with this book (basically just me being super picky with what I desire in a story) was the lack of plot. Most of the contemporary stories I read have more of a goal (i.e. MC wants to win a competition; MC wants to get their dream job; MC wants to find love etc.), but this one felt more aimless in that particular regard. I know that there is a romance, but it felt like more of an afterthought, which really sucks because Alice and Takumi had some sweet moments together (and I'm always a sucker for a cute romance). But because of all of this, I ended up getting really bored... to the point that I just started skimming through the last third. I always rate a book based on my enjoyment, which is why I ended up giving this one just a 1 star.
