Holy wow. I love when a book finds me at the PERFECT time. Getting older, participating in a hustle-culture, capitalistic world, worried about what my goals are and if I’m achieving them. All of these topics and more are explored so beautifully in this book. Plus the added practical layer of what it takes to own a bookshop, the community that can be built around books. Ugh so tender and beautiful.
I absolutely LOVED this book. From the cover, to the font. The characters , the lessons. I just wanted to spend time in this book forever. I want to revisit the lessons it taught and always remember to follow my heart. To follow our heart, we need to really listen, and that takes time, courage, sincerity, and authenticity. Only we own the key to our happiness.
