3.0

The New 52 was supposed to be the revised all new versions of heroes that have been around, in some cases, for 75 years. It was kind of a cool experiment, but then DC decided it wasn't working, so in this case, they killed of Superman. Now, Superman has been killed off before, and this was an intersting take on it, with him visiting his old loves, and old haunts, and worrying about Supergirl.

But there was confusing bits with people who thought they were superman, and who were a different version of Superman, and this comic didn't wrap it up. I hated how they chose Salinas as a place to find the alternative Superman, as though they were looking on a map for a rural farm area, and said, oh, lets use this one, even though I doubt it ever looked like that.

And now, we have the Rebirth series, and everything has changed.

So, read this to see how the New 52 ended, but do pick up the rebirth series, as it has been rather good.
