Love this series. Book one was exciting, but this book has Wyverns! Garreth is one of the four brothers that cheated the gods by stealing immortality. He is sentenced to freeze to death over and over. He agrees to fight for more cities to praise Weysa the goddess, and in turn lays siege to a city with a woman who can control a Wyvern. Mythical winged beast. It's not an story angle I have read before so I found this book to be just riveting. Sarielle is a slave and she is forced to use the Wyvern to protect the city. After defeating the city, Sarielle is given to Garreth as a slave. I just loved the world building in this book and I'm hooked on this series. Five stars of entertainment!
