Batman, Volume 5: Zero Year: Dark City by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV

4.0

Excellent. Love more of Batman's origin story, along with Gordon's original meet with Bruce Wayne. LOVE The Riddler, love the last chapter flash to Harper, my new favorite everything.

What I especially like is, because this is the beginning of Batman, we're getting him not at his best. He's getting his ass handed to him. He's coming out of it a little too handily, but it still works. He needs more help than he does in the first few volumes of his series, and it's kind of wonderful to see it happen.

Especially since he's so, "Grrr I don't need anyone get out" in those first few volumes towards the Bat People.

Very awesome.
