Sex Criminals, Vol. 3: Three the Hard Way by Matt Fraction

4.0

Gosh, I really loved #13, with the asexual representation.

Also the college lecture in #12, which said: So if our mind is adrift beyond space-time and our sexuality is a part of that... then surely it is no binary... it is not even a spectrum... Sex, gender, identity, the fabric of who we are, of our own personal space-time continuum floats like cork tumbling through a manifold of dimensions. Of shifting, colliding forms with a few points in common. Our sex changes like time changes. Like space, like the universe itself. Expanding, growing, collapsing, warming, cooling. Evolving.

I love this quote so much and it feels so true. Not only is sexuality in general fluid, but our own sexuality changes during our lifetimes. Mine certainly has, expanding, growing, collapsing, warming, cooling.

This might be controversial, but I really liked #14. With all the meta stuff. Lately, when I'm looking at art, I care that I feel things and I care that they're authentic. And the whole Fraction & Zdarsky chat was both for me. It felt real, it felt vulnerable and it did not feel one bit like a gimmick. And like, you know, artists need to process things in their art and I am all for that!

And in #15, I really loved Jon & Suzie together. Again. This guy. This girl. <3 Plus, Suzie's side project is just lovely.
