-first 3/4 of the book, I was just in it for the sake of saying I've read it and just kind of wanted to be over with it before the year ended LOL
-Did not care for Nina and Matthias' plot but loved it at the remaining 1/4 of the book. Their character developments was great
-picked up Van Eck's intentions from a mile away
-Jesper was my favortie character.
-I loved Inej
-I loved moments with Inej and Kaz
-Love the friendship of Inej and Jesper, Inej and Nina, and even Matthias' respect for Inej.
-Loved the storyline with the Jurda Parem because the stakes felt high
-Loved Jesper x Wylan
-Loved Nina at the end
-Loved Matthias at the end
-HATED HOW THE BOOK ENDED
I found Shadow and Bone to be way more interesting than this book tbh. If the second book involves Ravka, I think I would love it more than this one because maybe the stakes would be higher and the events would be more interesting.
