Class Action: An Activist Teacher's Handbook by The Caucus of Rank and File Educators CORE, Jacobin

3.0

Despite the increasing (and exaggerating) relevance of the issues discussed in this booklet, it doesn't quite feel comprehensive enough to warrant reading long after its 2014 origins. In addition to some design choices that make it hard to read, even if appealing (red lettering in some places, oddly spaced out headers, pictures with literally no captions or context), I would summarize by saying there are probably better resources out there.

I bought this years ago when I thought I wanted to be more involved with youth education/organizing, but now I'm a little outside the intended audience, I'd imagine. So take my criticisms with a grain of salt, because maybe I just overlooked the value of this booklet.
