Raid of No Return: A World War II Tale by Nathan Hale

3.0

I thought this particular tale would only involve Pearl Harbor but it was really about a specific mission that I never heard of before. It was amazing hearing all of the different moving parts to get the mission going. I’ve just recently been interested in military strategy, largely due to these tales. I’m just amazed. Hale did great work detailing this event. It was almost too small scale though and I think covering a few missions would have been helpful. It’s like the WWI one was too expansive and this was too narrow. Still great but a bit narrow.
Can’t wait for more Hazardous Tales!!!
