My Survival: A Girl on Schindler's List by Joshua M. Greene, Rena Finder
5.0
We absolutely love the cover. It is perfect for the story behind and throws you right back to these horrible times. By the way, it's also hiding a gorgeous design under the dust jacket.
The author's writing style is easy to follow and quite suitable to introduce some really bad history to our younger readers. With this book, we went on an emotional roller-coaster. It is full of love and hope, even through those fearful times which were haunted by starvation, slavery, and the loss of family and friends.
Rena Finder is a remarkable woman. A survivor who deserves everyone's respect for being so strong and keeping her pure heart.
We can definitely recommend this book to young readers and adults alike.
