Interesting! This book was more political than I was expecting, which was a fun change of pace. The main characters were unique (although something about their initial chemistry and the way they resolved a conflict didn’t quite work for me) and KJ Charles included some of her delightful wit and a robust cast of characters, which are always a joy to encounter. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series and seeing how these characters develop.
