This book was REALLY fun, but I was so confused while reading it! There were so many companions and characters and people to keep track of my brain felt like it was bursting at the seams trying to keep up with the pace of the story. I absolutely loved it, but it was absolutely mad. I think I would have had a much easier time if I had known the character Bernice Summerfield better -- from my understanding she and the other characters surrounding her, Jack, Ruth, and Peter are all featured in audio dramas and this story is a kind of coda to those, so I would think that someone who enjoyed those would really enjoy this book. The story is fantastic, but also it's wild and out of control, and it's one of those where you have to be in it for a while before you have any idea what's going on, and only then can you flip back to the beginning, re-read, and figure out what happened at the start. Time is even more of a mess than usual whew. 3.9 stars.
