The Crime at Tattenham Corner by Annie Haynes

4.0

3.5 stars. Much better than The Man with the Dark Beard, which I just finished and wasn't that impressed with. I did start to suspect what was going on probably around halfway through or thereabouts but didn't really see the twist coming. Oh, Lord, though - the coincidences in these Golden Age mysteries!
SpoilerThat the real killer should be fatally injured and give a full confession literally just before the trial ended is eye-rollingly unbelievable, though it does make for high drama and a happy ending (except for the corpse and the killer, that is).
