The Field of Wacky Inventions was a decent conclusion to the trilogy.  It has the same problem the other two books had.  There are way too many characters to keep track of.  But that quibble aside, the adventure was fun and engaging.  I though that Lucy was a nice mirror image to Leo.  And the inclusion of dinosaurs took me by surprise.  It's definitely for lovers of whimsy.
