Better character development than the first book in the series. Female characters are still fairly ornamental, yet likeable. The plot twists are mostly haphazard and akin to ideas being thrown at the wall to see what sticks. Don't get me wrong... It is a fun series and written well enough, I do like it.
I bought the omnibus (books 1-3) audiobook and have already started on the 3rd book. I'm "reading" them on Audible and hope the author decides to release another three-book omnibus since I seem only able to find these books on Audible (Not through my library, On Chirp, or on Scribd). The Narration is also great!
