Why?
BECAUSE ITS TOO SHORT.

A bit insta lovey. And yes, I’m aware it’s a fated mates trope BUT it was soooo few scenes and perhaps the author was to afraid to let it simmer properly. Such potential to be soooo good if we have been given more scenes with the shadow monster and built up more tension. AND because it was so short I feel a bit robbed of the delicious tension and him being the shadow monster- I wanted more scenes with the monster and her, more scenes where he creeps around and idk. Just more.
I NEEDED MOOOOOOOOORE. It didn’t feel fleshed out enough (pun intended) and too wispy (double pun). I think allowing it to build and for them to get to know each other would’ve made the story deeper and a solid 4 or 5. But alas, here we are.
