Dreamtigers by Jorge Luis Borges

4.0

Written in the height of his global fame, Dreamtigers is the work of a man who has made it to the spaciousness of success. Its great echoings reverberate history and human condition, but it doesn't strike me with the same lostness as Borges' other writing. Mysticism and subtle connections are sublime, delicate, rich for returning, and a structuring of something larger. For its holistic mastery, the desperate figuring of youth is absent.
