Sanditon by Kate Riordan

3.5. So, I’ve already watched the BBC/PBS series (which I adored), so this might be unfair of me—but it’s word-for-word with the show. Nothing is different. While I enjoyed everything in the show, something’s were lackluster when translated to literature. It didn’t read like any other Austen book, and I was bummed. With all that being said, Charlotte is one of my favorite Austen heroines with her naivety and bluntness.

I’d really like a season two because this book ends with absolutely no resolution.
