There's Something About Molly by Christina Hovland

3.0

The something about Molly is that she’s stubborn and very insecure. I enjoyed Gavin and the extended cast of characters, but Molly was a drag. First impressions about a person and even continuing impressions formed at a distance can change when you get to know them. A sign of maturity is being able to realize that and let go of your preconceived notions. Molly didn’t display that emotional maturity until quite deep into the story.

Her insecurity led her to annoyingly pushing her first dates into other people’s arms over and over again. Then she would feel sorry for herself that things didn’t work out, even though her choices were the reason. She eventually saw the light, but mainly because her friends had to browbeat her into it.

I wish Molly had been more relatable and flexible.
