A hefty book, and one which seems to take an age to really get going. There were parts that I found engaging, but so much to get through that felt like too much of a slog to rate it as entertaining.
Bryce is stranded in a new world. Her companions are scattered all over the place. For ages we follow them as they learn about where they are and what’s happening in order to try to get back together and work out how to save Midgard.
I don’t want to give details away, but this focuses on the quest to save Midgard from the Asteri once and for all. You know not everyone will make it, and for some it will change them forever.
