Dark Recollections by Chris Philbrook

4.0

This book was enjoyable, albeit extremely repetitive. It's a pretty standard end of the world affair, and even though the author doesn't deviate from common tropes (except that zombies don't groan in this one), the book was gripping and held my interest throughout.

My biggest complaint is the insane amount of spelling and grammar errors. I realize it's a journal, so things like having a comma where commas should go may not happen. That wasn't the issue. The issue was just things where running a spell check on Microsoft Word could've helped. I actually started highlighting all of them about 70% through the book.

Overall, a great book, but the rampant spelling and grammar errors were distracting.
