Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace by David Lipsky

4.0

Sometimes this felt a little too much like the road trip conversation between two intellectual, academic white guys that it was. On the other hand, I find DWF a fascinating person, and his observations and reflections, especially on his struggle with mental illness, with fame, with women, and his consistent down-to-earth Midwestern desire to be ordinary, were quite wonderful to read.
