Nothing extraordinary about this, pretty pedestrian story of Batman and the Scarecrow. Throw in Catwoman and a creepy mansion full of traps, and you have a half way decent Halloweenish story. The Scarecrow was defeated way too easily, and Batman came off as inhuman since he was pretty much unaffected by Crane's fear gas.
