Such a funny book about a bizarre school! I absolutely love all the jokes and randomness in the book and Ottoline is a really likeable character in my opinion. I wish she was a bit nicer to Mr Munroe though! He’s a really loveable character too. The school has crazy subjects like Useful Skills, Useless Skills, Giggling, Weeping, Looking, Seeming, Being etc. and since it’s the Alice B. Smith School For The Differently Gifted, the kids all have unusual talents like Aerial Flower Arranging and Curtain Origami and other fantastical sounding things! I liked the bit when Ottoline and her friend Cecily went to a party with bears and I loved the ghost mystery and all the chaos it caused! And it was great how at the end, the parents get a school report based on their parenting skills rather than their child!
