I absolutely loved the Selection and I was really excited to read this one but I felt like America, Maxon and Aspen totally fell flat. America was such a confident and smart character in the first one but with this one, I wonder what went wrong. The love triangle especially drove me crazy because it kind of got to where I was skimming parts of the books because I was so over it. I did like the parts with the rebel attacks, kept things exciting! I did keep reading when I wanted to stop because I wanted to find out what happens just like I am when I say I will never watch the Bachelor (good read alike with this book) but then I totally finish it anyways. Now I can't wait until The One comes out next year.
