I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai

5.0

I never thought I'd be reading this book, but after reading I couldn't seem to take my mind off it.
This is a book recommended to me by a friend of mine, in 4th grade. Seeing how it was non-fiction I didn't think much of it. I thought it would be like a biography full of big words yet I didn't need to open a dictionary.

I personally liked how the story was written. While I was reading it I felt goosebumps. The story of a girl who stood up for education. Makes me feel frustrated as well, seeing how the story went. I wondered how it felt like to be in her shoes. How it felt like when she was giving all those interviews when she knew how dangerous it was. It was difficult to understand at times, as there was a little bit of politics involved.

Overall it was a great read. The story behind the girl who stood up for education.
