As many others have said, the first half of this book is fantastic. It's interesting, gripping, well written, and the twists are well done. The second half of the book is just.... no.
There were too many twists by the end. It was just... too much. I wasn't shocked any more. Literally everyone in this book is awful. That's the takeaway I got. People are shit.
Anyway, this is a great sci-fi that banks too much on the shock value of twists that are somewhat predictable. It's not a bad novel, but one I probably won't linger much thought on.
