A bunch of bland, unsatisfying characters lead bland, unsatisfying lives. They think about making a dramatic change but ultimately don't and continue being bland. If you've read this far, congratulations, you've basically read this entire collection. 1 star for the entire book, with a bonus star for Abraham's Enchanted Forest, which is the only story I expect to remember in a week's time.
