Rouge by Mona Awad

The book was definitely piquing my interest... eventually. it started off a little dull, and I did get sick of the ongoing, tedious skin care routines that Belle continuously went over, but it was still interesting. I haven't read anything like this before and I'm not regretting my decision to read this book, which is always a good sign. however, I wish more explanation had been given to the people within the Rouge community. how did the idea come to be? where did they find the jellyfish and why/how did the figure out how to use them. why were the ones in charge in charge and did the play a role in creating everything. how did tom cruise get in the mirror. what was the mirror? how did Noelle get the mirror. there were many things left unanswered at the end of this story that leaves me wondering. I can't deny the stunning format and style Awad has though, and I fell in love with her writing.
