Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus (July 28,1992) is joyful read for ages 5-7 year olds. Within this early chapter book you are thrusted back to the events of elementary school. Having to deal with changes, consequences of your actions and growing up this book is an excellent read for young readers. It gives them something to relate to as well as talk with their friends and peers. I think this would be a great book in the classroom for the first week of school. This story talks about how scary the first day of school was for the Amin character and I think my students would definitely relate to that aspect. <humorous ><adventurous ><lighthearted>
