I first read this book as a tween and it sparked within me a love for Arthurian mythology that hasn’t faded. I saw it on my shelf and thought it would be a good “quickie” read and since I hadn’t read it in 15+ years I was intrigued to go back in time.

I finished the book in legitimately two hours. It is a quick “quickie”. I loved reading about Arthur and Lancelot and Guinevere. One of my FAVORITE poems is “The Lady of Shalott” (insert shameless plug for Anne of Green Gables boat scene
