Over in the Wetlands: A Hurricane-On-The-Bayou Story by Caroline Starr Rose

4.0

Beautiful, watercolor like illustrations with a story of animals preparing for a hurricane in the marshes of southern Louisiana. I love the rhyming aspect, because the story feels more lyrical. This book is fun and can help teach children about nature. I obtained it as a baby gift for a friend, but I couldn’t help reading first. Glad I did. Likely, this book could make for a great bedtime story.
