The Double Death of Quincas Water-Bray by Jorge Amado

4.0

A clever and fun little novella. I couldn't find my book this morning so I grabbed the smallest book from a stack of Penguin Classics that I haven't shelved yet.

Shows the dichotomy of Quincas' family and friends in respecting him for the man he was, not the man his family wanted him to be.

Masculine frivolity and bawdiness with a dash of the Latin perspective on Death.
