A Nobleman's Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel by KJ Charles

4.0

Another delightfully queer historical romance!

I loved Luke in The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen so I was incredibly happy to see him get his own story. It's equally as character-driven and the characters are as varied as you want them to be. Odo grows on you, Berengaria is delightfully irreverent, Conrad is annoying, Matilda is despicable, Rufus is everything good and kind, and Luke is a beautiful disaster.

The romantic storyline was perfectly paced, with a good balance of strife and steam. It was a treat to experience. And the plot has lovely Gothic elements sprinkled throughout the world and societal fabric of the Marsh as we know it.

I highly recommend reading this! It will leave you charmed.
