The Little Perfume Shop off the Champs-Élysées by Rebecca Raisin

5.0

Once again the author has written something which will take the reader right to the heart of one of the most romantic cities in the world.

I am a huge fan of this author, and her books always go to the very top of my to read list. I dived straight in as soon as I received this book, and only put it down because I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. The story in this book is different to the others in the series, yet the author still manages to show her love of books within the storyline. Not only that, she also allows us to meet the characters we fell in love with in the previous books. They may only play a small part in this book, but their appearances provide so much more to the storyline.

In recent months I have seen an abundance of adverts for creating your own fragrance. I had even looked into it briefly. This story has reignited my desire to get something made just for me, and has already got me thinking about how to go about that.

The characters are believable throughout and I can already see the possibility for a few different side stories making an appearance at some point, at least I hope they do. Lex and Amelie deserve their own story I think, hint hint!

A great romantic story with so much depth to it, well done once again to the author.

Many thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for providing a copy of this book. Huge thanks also to the author.
