War, So Much War by Mercè Rodoreda

1.0

Vignettes of increasing pointlessness, and despite the title, there is little of war. As I read the first few vignettes, I thought I'd be giving this book five stars, but the imagery-heavy scenes never came together into anything meaningful. Eventually the vignettes become so meandering and pointless that it felt like a slog to read on. By the time I got to the end of the book, it was a one star from me.

Do not recommend.
