Awesome read. It rips through early 20th century pulp fiction genes at breakneck speed. It reads the exact way you’d hope an “Indiana Jones novel set in a fantasy world where the main character is essentially a wizard cowboy” novel ought to. I thought the famous Sanderson twists were more predictable this time around, but the character writing and action sequences are so far beyond his earlier stuff. I’m very curious where the heck the finale is going, and yet it’s hard to jump into knowing Era 3 is still in the works. But that’s a later problem.
