Giant Days: Extra Credit by John Allison

3.0

I have been more than a little lukewarm on Giant Days lately. The first few volumes were truly something special, but ever since then I have basically read them because I felt like I had to. The three main characters are fantastic, but the stories surrounding them lately have not been. This is all to explain my trepidation with reading Extra Credit. Was that trepidation worth it? Yes and no. As many reviews noted, the first story is the clear highlight because it showed why the readers are so captivated by these characters. The other stories are hit and miss, which is a shame because of how much I love this series at one point. I also still miss the old artwork.
