Return to You by Julie Cross

5.0

I received a free copy in exchange for honest feedback.

Return to You picks up where Return to Sender left off. Karen and Jordan are at a gymnastics camp together and things aren't going so well. Karen can't get this one move right, and her confidence is shattered. While Jordan tries to help, Karen can't help pushing him away.

This is the third book in the series, and while I still had mixed feelings about this one and the second being shorter installments than the novel length first, this one really showed me that I like this series in the shorter installments. Karen and Jordan have all this incredible potential for character development and these shorter installments really tap into that possibly better so than a novel would. In Return to You, Karen's character grows and struggles, and her emotions leap off the page. Her struggle with her gymnastics move is painful, but the beauty of her growing maturity and closure is wonderful.

The new character, TJ, is a great addition to the story. I like his tough attitude and quietly kind heart. I definitely hope to see more of him in later installments.

Overall, another great addition to this series by Julie Cross. I look forward to seeing what else these books have to offer and how things turn out for Karen and Jordan.
