Disclaimer: I hate Clara.
The first story in this volume is a little disjointed and we flip back and forth between a girl who recently lost her father, a weird body snatching alien, and the Doctor and Clara. It's your basic rip in reality, alien policing, the Doctor finds a way story.
The second story is slightly more interesting, if only because it features Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Well, it features stand-ins for those characters, is that some sort of legal thing? They can't use their likeness? Oh and the Rat Pack is called the Wolf Pack and they randomly howl....Whatever, the point is the story takes place in Vegas golden Rat Pack era which is really fun. I just wish there was more rat pack and less Clara.
