I Hated You First by Rachel John
2.0
2.5 stars
It was good when it started, I enjoyed the banter. However, when Lauren and Clay was in the process of getting together, it felt forced and unrealistically sped up.
I also wished there were more emotions from Parker and John. Especially knowing how Parker's relationship with Lauren is, it all felt flat and not believable.
I wish I could've liked this more, and though I'd read the next book in the series, I didn't like how a lot of things didn't have enough time to be fleshed out. It made sense but at the same time, it didn't.
It's an easy and quick read but it's a little for my taste. I hope other readers would like it more than I do.
