The Coven by Graham Masterton

4.0

Still trying to get over the death of her husband, Beatrice Scarlet suffers another lose and moves back to London to take up work in a home for fallen girls. She quickly fits into helping poor unfortunate girls of 18th century London better themselves and not need to be the prostitutes they once were. Things seem to good to be true and they aren't. Evil things are happening and she soon finds herself confronting the devil, or at least a man dressed as Satan. She has to fight for her life and that of her daughter.

An enjoyable story in the end but this is a slow burning story and needs a bit of perseverance.
