Enchanting the Fae Prince by Alisha Klapheke

3.0

I have mixed feelings about this book. What I liked was the vividness of the imagery, like the color of swords and the shade of dragon scales. What I disliked was how the story grew increasingly disjointed as the pages went by — as though the author was in a rush and didn’t have time to properly construct and transition between scenes and settings. Indeed, the second half of the story was a blur of frantic motion, with the only slow bits pieces of romance that seemed just a bit out of place.

Granted, the story is good. The plot concept is interesting, and the characters fascinating. But the frenetic pace was quite a letdown.
